Welcome to Astro Soccer Sixes

The first Astro Soccer Sixes league was established at St. Aidans School, Sports Complex, Carlisle in October 1998. Initially the leagues consisted of 3 divisions of 12 teams mainly made up of corporate teams of businesses from around the Carlisle area. Included also were 2 teams each from Penrith and Workington and an International flavour was added by a team from The Edinburgh Woollen Mill based over the Scottish border in Langholm.

Matches are played on Monday evenings between 6.00 p.m and 9.00 p.m. with 3 x 11 week seasons each year.

In October 2001 we opened in West Cumbria with 2 divisions at Cockermouth School, Cockermouth. This quickly grew to 3 divisions with matches being played on Tuesday evenings between 6 and 9 p.m, again with 3 x 11 week seasons per year.

Seasons run January to March, April to July, September to December.

3 teams are promoted and relegated each season to ensure that everyone finds a competitive level that they can enjoy.

• Egremont RFC, Egremont ( Thursdays 7pm to 9.30pm)
