17 YEARS of SOCCER SIXES

The first Astro Soccer Sixes league was established at St. Aidans School, Sports Complex, Carlisle in October 1998. Initially the leagues consisted of 3 divisions of 12 teams mainly made up of corporate teams of businesses from around the Carlisle area. Included also were 2 teams each from Penrith and Workington and an International flavour was added by a team from The Edinburgh Woollen Mill based over the Scottish border in Langholm. We have also included the brand new state-of-the-art 3G pitches at Harraby Sports Complex.
